Apart’s first living showroom has officially opened this mid-November! It is a new Italian platform founded by Diego Paccagnella and Stefano Micelli, that aims to collect the best of Italian design and offer it to New Yorkers and American customers. Why a living showroom? Because the space, which opened at 110 W 25th Street, is different from others. Diego Paccagnella lives ther with his family! Visitors of Design-Apart have the opportunity to experience a space that is friendly and convivial. You can have coffee with Diego, eat pasta, and chat. Anyone who is interested in the loft can request a quote for a single piece of furniture or for an enitre project for an apartment. In addition, Design-Apart hosts many special exhibitions where you can purchase limited edition pieces of art and esign on sale. Spending time in the DesignApart space is crucial to discovering and appreciating the design and concept of customization. It is here that you have the opportunity to reach out and touch the furniture that comes from the best Italian producers: boiseries designed and manufactured by the prestigious carpenters Ermes Ponti of Mantua, a unique kitchen product of TM Italia from Ascoli Piceno, sofas made in Meda by Berto Salotti, lamps “printed” in 3D by Exnovo an innovative company of Trento. This original and unique space was created by experienced craftsmen who worked with the final customer in mind. An innovative and new idea concerning design leverages the latest technologies to improve communication with those who will live and utilize custom created spaces. Loft life at Design-Apart is lively throughout the year. The space hosts events related toItalian design, fashion, and food. The space is open daily from 10am to 6pm.
