Tod’s was awarded the Sustainable Fashion Award 2025, organized by the Italian Chamber of Fashion, in the category Craft and Artisanship, for its innovative project Tod’s Passport, a digital product passport created for the iconic Di Bag and My Gommino.
This project, which came to life thanks to the support of Aura Blockchain Consortium and Temera, embodies Tod’s commitment to sustainability, and was designed to ensure traceability, authenticity, and transparency in the production process, while also enhancing customer experience. The digital passport, available through an app, allows consumers to track each step of the product’s creation, from material selection to final craftsmanship, promoting greater consumer awareness.
The award was presented during Milan’s Fashion Week at an exclusive ceremony at the Teatro alla Scala, where supermodel and icon Iman conferred the award on Tod’s Creative Director Matteo Tamburini. “We are honored to receive this recognition, which celebrates our commitment to merging traditional craftsmanship with sustainable innovation,” said Tamburini. “The Tod’s Passport project represents a true revolution in the luxury sector, combining innovation and sustainability into one exceptional product. It’s our way of looking to the future while never forgetting the roots of our tradition.”
