By New York, May 22, 2023 – Today, with the opening ceremony, the second edition of Italy on Madison begins.
The event, created by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) and running until May 28, will offer a series of special events and cultural events, which will highlight the best brands and the great Italian restaurant scene.
Following tradition, Italy on Madison will be kicked of by the Director of the ICE Agency in New York, coordinator of the US network, Antonino Laspina. In his opening speech, which according to tradition was held at the Italian Trade Agency office at 33 East 67th Street, he thanked the local authorities and the many New Yorkers in attendance and restated his joy and pleasure in seeing all manner of Italian excellence on display together during this special Made in Italy event in Manhattan.
This second edition includes a very intense program of initiatives: seminars, fashion shows, cocktail parties, meeting with the media and with the great New York community.
Major Italian fashion and design brands and Made in Italy haute cuisine will display all their excellence on one of the worlds’ most iconic streets, Madison Avenue in New York City.
“It is truly a great privilege to be able to kick off this second edition of Italy on Madison,” declared Antonino Laspina, Director of the ICE Agency in New York, coordinator of the US network.“The ‘Italy on Madison 2023’ event intends to offer further support in promotional and communication activities to Italian companies operating in the most ‘Italian’ shopping district outside Italy.
This is an opportunity to further transform the great market potential into business for Made in Italy companies, and it also a great opportunity to make the relationship between the institutions and the businesses even more cohesive in the promotion of the great Italian product,” Antonino Laspina concluded.
