THE FANCY FOOD SHOW – MORE INTERNATIONAL, MORE ITALY!
This year, Italy has been, yet again, the unparalleled star of the Fancy Food.
This year’s edition welcomed 300 Italian companies over 26,000 sq.ft. of exhibit space.
The Javits Center, the glass palace that hosts the most important food and beverage trade show in North America and, according to some, in the world, has been decorated in celebratory fashion for the first time election of a Partner Country. And that country is Italy, their first partner and sponsor of the great event.
Today, at the closing of the 3-day show, the Senior VP of the Specialty Food Association, Mr. Chris Nemchek said: “The mission of the Fancy Food show is to bring people and cultures together, by way of their foods and beverages.
The perfect synergy with Universal Marketing, who represents the Specialty Food Association in Italy, and with the institutional partners that are at our side, contributes greatly to the grouth of the Made in Italy brand at the Fancy Food shows This fact brings us immense satisfaction. Our objective is to make the Fancy Food show more international and, perhaps, bring it around the world.”
“We’re very proud of our collaboration with the Specialty Food Association and, in particular, this year’s – said Donato Cinelli, president of Universal Marketing, exclusive agents of the Specialty Food Association in Italy. The fact that we are a part of the Fancy Food show is our pride and joy.
It’s the first time that the organizers have elected a partner country, sponsor of their events. For Italy being chosen and for us closely partnering with the Association in the organization of one of the most important food events in the world – continued Cinelli, is a clear confirmation of our increasing, more established and important reputation that we have been building and expanding in the North America.”
